Position Overview

TheSr. Salesforce IT Applications Business Analyst will be responsible forday-to-day activities related to effectively creating, maintaining andsupporting CRM related business processes, systems and documenting businessrequirements for the given service area. The Applications Analyst must be ableto communicate equally with business owners, users, and IT professionals.Candidates must have a solid understanding of Salesforce and B2B Commerceadministration, and customer service-oriented business process concepts andtechniques as well as the ability to document business needs through businessrequirements that will ultimately drive technical solutions. This role willserve as facilitator, analyst, problem solver and Salesforce administrator.Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a teamenvironment are essential, as are outstanding communication and interpersonalskills. He/she will align with global, divisional and business unit strategiesand business requirements.

This position reports to the Sr. Manager, IT ApplicationsDevelopment. Primary businessinteractions include:

a. SFDC CRM teammembers

b. Key business stakeholders

c. DI SWinfrastructure teams (as needed)

d. Other CRM vendors and service/solutionproviders

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and interface with the CRM Team and Product Owners to understand, refine and help document solutions for business requirements in the form of User Stories
  • Participate in solutioning and enhancing Salesforce B2B Customer Community (DEX - Digital Exchange Store)
  • Support CPQ initiatives in relation to DEX
  • Analyze business requests, asking important and relevant questions to ensure solutions meet the requirements and do not cause other impacts
  • Participatein scoping, planning, prioritization, and requirements activities incoordination with Product Owners, Solution Managers, Developers, and BusinessOwners on Enhancement/Change Requests
  • Drivecontinuous improvement within existing sales applications and processes andformulate solutions to support new business initiatives
  • Implementbusiness/technical solutions in Salesforce within given timeframes
  • Workclosely with Developers, Infrastructure groups and other Support teams on day-to-dayapplication related issues following SLA standards
  • Supporttesting of enhancements, new SFDC releases, and interfaces as needed
  • Supportbusiness process training for SFA and customer service business processes asrequired

Required Knowledge/Skills,Education, and Experience

• Undergraduate degree in IT, computer science, orrelated field

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience with Salesforce.comSystem Administration

• Experience working with Salesforce B2B CustomerCommunity (CloudCraze)

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in Agile/Scrumdevelopment environment using sprints to deliver minimum viable products (MVP)

• Must be a flexible and creative individual capable ofsupporting multiple priorities and projects in a fast paced, often ambiguous,and diverse environment

• Strong business process improvement skills; processmapping, problem identification, application of best practices and standards

• Good verbal and written communication skills; abilityto deliver complex concepts through abstract models and presentations

Preferred Knowledge/Skills,Education, and Experience

• Salesforce.com System Administrator and/or DeveloperCertification

• Salesforce B2B Commerce (CloudCraze)

• Copado or similar deployment tool expertise

• Experiencewith Agile tools (Jira, Polarion, etc.)

• Understanding of business data management andmodelling

• Leadership, planning, and execution skills

The salary range for this position is $82,900 to$149,200 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actualcompensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location aswell as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, andrelevant education/training.
