Technical Services Consultant (HL7 Integration)
Job Description
The Integration Engineer as part of the Philips Connected Care - Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM) business, will provide technical integration services and expertise during installation and configuration of out IntelliSpace Perinatal solution. The role will be a mix of installation & configuration, integration with other systems, troubleshooting, consultancy, training, and support.
Your role:
- Design and lead the implementation and testing of complex IT integration solutions following industry and proprietary real-time patient data transfer and alarm management requirements.
- Provide consultation to healthcare institutions on IT integration strategies and system integrations.
- Troubleshoot complex systems integration issues to ensure acceptable (QOS) Quality of Service.
- Lead installation of complex multi-phase systems composed of IT infrastructure and patient monitoring in both clinical environments across North America.
- Provide technical review of system configurations to ensure the viability of system performance.
- Lead and direct a diverse team of internal and external installation resources.
- Share responsibility for successful project completion with the assigned Project Manager and project team.
- Acts as the technical SME (subject matter expert) for our internal (sales/project/support teams) and external customers with key areas of focus around interoperability and integrations.

- Proficiency of systems architecture, and infrastructure (data center, storage, virtualization, networking, cloud & advanced applications/HER, working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policies, and ability to navigate MS Server 2019 or 2022 and broad Windows Skills)
- Extensive working/operational knowledge of healthcare informatics including HL7, WCM, FHIR, IHE, as well as custom APIs/integrations.
- 5+ years in healthcare IT environments
- BS in Software Engineering or Computer Science disciplines. Alternatively, BS Electrical Engineering/Computer Science/Biomed disciplines
- Current certifications in the areas of JavaScript, Cisco CCNA, and Cloud Computing like Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, or CompTIA Cloud+ are a plus.
- Data Analytics experience and skills in data visualization, presentation, statistical programming, critical thinking, and machine learning would be a nice plus.
- Extensive knowledge of information system technologies as reflected in formal Microsoft, Cisco, VM, Cloud, or Active Directory / DNS is desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of Patient Monitoring systems and EMR/EHRs as reflected in the completion of formal vendor training desired.
- Proficiency in French language is highly desired.

Philips Transparency Details
The base pay range for this position is $76,475 to $154,560. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
