You as a Project Quality Specialist will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Rotterdam, Netherlands. You will be establishing and maintaining a quality culture within local Hitachi Energy by assuring and controlling quality with systems, tools and teams to meet customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations.

• You will act as a role model for the behavior required to support a quality & continuous Improvement culture.
• You will be maintaining administer and improve our certified quality management system (QMS).
• Drive quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) in the organization and in execution projects ensuring compliance to customer, corporate or legal requirements.
• Support projects in execution with project quality plans (PQP) master test plan (MTP) and if required factory acceptance tests (FAT).
• You will review inspection test plans (ITP) and inspection test records (ITR) from suppliers for correctness and completeness according to corporate and customer quality control plans (QCP).
• Assist and coordinate in internal and external audits.
• You will lead improvement projects, facilitate lessons learned and best practice sessions and sharing within the organization (PDCA, DMAIC, 8D).

• You have 2 year's experience in process improvement and quality assurance roles in a projects or engineering environment.
• You have a university degree is desirable, engineering or quality management an advantage.
• Ability to establish, maintain and influence effective working relationships in a large and complex organization.
• Capacity to communicate, result oriented, openness and listen to others.
• Willingness of being a change agent with a positive attitude, challenging conventional thinking, approach and methodology and driving improvements.
• Experience in internal and external audits adhering to ISO9001, auditor certified an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills if L6S YB or GB an advantage.
• Proficiency in English and Dutch at an advanced level.
