What you'll be doing:
Do you have a high-level understanding of Finite ElementAnalysis and are you comfortable working with a wide range of engineeringapplications like rotor dynamics, transmission builder, acoustics, structuraldynamics, aeroelasticity? Then join our team!
As a qualified and motivated FEA engineer you are joiningour Development Support team, as an expert supporting our Simcenter 3DPost-processing and our Simcenter Nastran development team fosteringcollaboration and communication between the two teams.
Development Support helps to verify that softwarepredictions meet the highest quality standards and help deliver highlytechnical software support services to a global client base.
You will collaborate closely with teams worldwide toprovide advanced technical solutions that help to ensure end-user issues areanswered and fixed in a timely manner, and that software products are usedcorrectly, to their maximum potential.
You will work closely with software developers during thedevelopment cycle of Simcenter 3D and Simcenter Nastran to help ensure newfeatures' understanding, with a focus to demonstrate the use of newlyimplemented software features and their functionalities. Another part of thisrole includes verifying that new features meet the specified design criteria.
You'll help our customers drive digital innovation and havea tremendous impact by:
- Triaging customer problem reports submitted to thedevelopment teams.
- Supporting internal customers.
- Ensuring newly implemented code developments are wellunderstood. Emphasis is given to verifying new code development works asdesigned throughout the development and release cycles.

What skills you need:
We would love to hear from you as a dedicated engineer witha postgraduate degree inMechanical/Automotive/Aerospace/Marine Engineering or other closely relatedfields, as well as a prior industrial or research experience working with FEAsoftware.
- You should come with an ability to find innovative approaches to problem solving and to show initiative in overcoming challenges. Proven ability to work autonomously and to prioritize different projects is essential to the role, as well as good organizational skills.
- Thanks to your excellent communication skills in English, you build positive relationships with your colleagues, and you can lead multi-functional teams projects, regardless of reporting structure. You are a strong teammate and creative problem solver who can work with multi-cultural, dispersed technical teams.
- You are also bringing experience in: Using Simcenter 3D and Simcenter Nastran; Post-processing complex industrial CAE simulations; Supporting and/or testing CAE software; Basic programming and/or scripting skills - Python, NX Open; Working in a Linux and Windows environment.
