Senior Sales Specialist, Medical Device Integration & Virtual Care (Remote Based - Canada)

Canada is seeing significant growth in the areas of medical device integration and virtual care, which are aimed at reducing the complexity and burden of existing processes to deliver high-quality patient care. Philips is a leader in these areas, and as a Senior Sales Specialist, you will act as a subject matter expert within these domains for the Philips Canada Enterprise Informatics organization.

Your role:

  • Drive business strategy and provide solutions to existing and prospective clients across Canada with our dynamic sales and modality teams located in Canada and the United States.
  • Developing product strategy with the sales organization, using your clinical, technical, and Canadian healthcare procurement expertise to win RFPs.
  • Partner across the organization to identify and maintain an opportunity funnel.
  • Leading development of customer presentations including clinical, operations, and financial positioning and benefits. Attend customer presentations to resolve customer objections or answer questions regarding product and configuration. If requested, provide product expertise in customer feedback loop
  • Lead initiatives with Field Marketing with input on sales tools, pricing issues, and competitive threats to enable them to best support specialists and provide input to the Business Unit. Identify and drive marketing programs across Canada.
  • Remote role. Travel up to 25% of time, depending on business need.

  • You've acquired 5+ years related experience in modality management and or relevant experience with patient monitoring systems.
  • You have selling experience in the Canadian medical device and medical software market.
  • You've acquired 8+ years of demonstrated healthcare experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Your skills include knowledge in medical software, clinical workflows in nursing, and hospital healthcare informatics.
  • You have a background in Critical Care Nursing, Critical Care Health , or Biomedical engineering.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Sales position.
  • You're capable of generating strategy out of multiple and complex inputs and autonomously driving execution to plans across both client hospital organization and internally within corporate environments.
Total On-Target Earning (composed of base + target incentive) from 85% to 120% performance achievement of Target Incentive is $161,000 to $228,000 per year plus company fleet/car. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance. On Target Earnings pay is only one component of the Philips Total Rewards compensation package, which includes a generous PTO, DC Pension, Flex Dollars (for HSA/PSA/RRSP), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.
