Product Marketing Manager, Metaverse Content

Seattle, WA

The Metaverse Content Product Marketing team is seeking an individual who is passionate about building and marketing innovative Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR) experiences that inspire new audiences to discover Meta Quest platforms. This position will play a critical role in developing content and GTM strategy, and influencing the content pipeline for current and future hardware devices. The right person has strong strategic development skills, and is able to use data and analytics to build a business case. They have strong communication skills, are good at building consensus and influencing others. This position will bring together the right stakeholders to develop insights and strategies to advance key initiatives and support growth metrics. This person will be responsible for customer-centric business decision-making for the content business, working closely with the Content, VR/MR, and Metaverse product teams as well as Business Development, Finance, Sales, Analytics, Growth, Marketing, Sales, PR, Partnerships, Legal, Privacy, and Policy and other Product Marketing teams. This work will include upfront analysis to identify market needs by segment, opportunity and audience sizing, product positioning and key messaging, content portfolio strategy, channel marketing strategy, and being the "voice of the user." This role will be an independent contributor with an impactful remit within the Product Marketing, Virtual Reality and Metaverse organizations.

Product Marketing Manager, Metaverse Content Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough analysis of internal and external data to identify trends, opportunities and potential risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine business strategies
  • Generate actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic initiatives
  • Stay informed about industry and platform trends, competitor activities and marketing dynamics to inform strategic planning
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights from research and analysis to select key titles to promote, influence the partnerships strategy, and inform content portfolio positioning, go-to-market plans, creative assets, and campaigns
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships and champion an informed point-of-view to drive alignment
  • Balance of creative and analytical thinking, putting forth best-in-class execution within a measurable and data-driven framework
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic planning for content
  • Analytical and problem-solving experience
  • Experience presenting and to conveying complex information to stakeholders at all levels
  • Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree
  • Effectiveness working independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and fluid environment, with the experience to adapt, spot issues early, and escalate
  • Interested in, and understanding of mixed reality
