Primary Responsibilities

.

  • Demonstrate technical leadership to a team of software engineers in developing offensive and defensive cyber tools focused on Radar and C2 systems.
  • Develop simulations to emulate threat realistic CEMA environments.
  • Mentor and develop tother software engineers.
  • Research current and future cyber security threats against military systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
  • Define the technical direction of our products technology stack.
  • Work with subject matter experts and customer liaisons to define and develop solutions that solve our customer's problems.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical degree.
  • 8 plus years of full-time experience in an agile software engineering team environment.
  • Live in Lawton, OK or be willing to relocate into the area.
  • Be willing to travel approx. 10% each year if necessary - moderate travel to testing locations, typically CONUS.

Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Top Secret/SSBI Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Final Top-Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Extensive experience with software engineering and should be prepared to demonstrate:
    • Expert experience in software architecture and design
    • Minimum 3 years' experience leading Software Development team(s)
    • Expert in C++ or Python.
    • Deep understanding of Linux platforms
    • Experience and interest in fundamental networking implementations and concepts.
    • Experience with Agile software development, CI/CD toolchains and DevOps (e.g., Atlassian suite, git, Jenkins, Artifactory)

Experience with the following tools, concepts, and products is a plus:

  • Ubuntu, Red Hat, Kali Linux, or similar
  • Networking Protocols
  • Wireshark

Pay Range:

Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
