Senior Product Operations Manager, Extended Workforce Solutions, gTech

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in product or program management.
  • 6 years of experience with data analysis and data tools (e.g., SQL, MySQL, Tableau, etc.).
  • 6 years of experience working with systems design and product design.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Applied Science, or a related field.
  • Experience implementing initiatives/projects in a change-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in operations management (e.g., process improvement, operational reviews, optimizing workflows, etc.) or in a customer-facing role.

    gTech's Extended Workforce Solutions team enables Product Areas to scale operations while managing risk. The goal is to enable businesses to make informed decisions to put talent in the right locations. Partnership with teams across Google works to provide a positive user experience and manage administrative burden throughout the Extended Workforce process. The team assists with Extended Workforce planning and strategy, and provides tools to support product areas in managing their Extended Workforce infrastructure.

    The Solutions Delivery Technology team's mission is to deliver technology strategy and direction that drives efficiency through automation, improved user experiences, and compliance through technical controls. The team also gathers and works to understand business needs and map them to technology and systems that can help deliver needs both efficiently and effectively.

    Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the design of an integrated roadmap, translating the business strategy into a technical delivery plan by understanding the strategic business needs and defining solutions for those needs.
    • Work with technical development teams to launch tools across various organizations.
    • Participate in regular business and technology reviews between Extended Workforce Solutions and technology teams to ensure alignment on strategy, plans and execution of key milestones.
    • Contribute to testing of products/solutions for customers/partners before release through different phases (e.g., internal testing, user acceptance testing).
    • Contribute efforts to transform infrastructure including surfacing requirements, setting timelines, leading pilots, and managing change with local partners.
