What will you contribute?

This is an exciting lead generation opportunity for individuals interested in developing their sales career within a leading financial services software organization. As a Sales Development Representative, you will act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties of the Sales Development Representative will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage and qualify new and existing leads through inbound and outbound channels.
  • Maintain active engagement with leads to increase customer interest in our offerings and value propositions through creative, consultative communications (cold calls, email, and social channels)
  • Collaborate closely with account executives to not only qualify leads, but also to ensure we're engaging with the right leads in the right accounts.
  • Use tools and technologies to improve process efficiency, maintain sales forecast data and regularly reviewing and updating the sales reporting system (CRM)
  • Keep up to date with current industry trends, competitors, and current/new company products and services.
  • Participate in user group meetings and trade shows as needed.
  • Participate in training programs as directed by the manager.
  • Own and manage lead generation targets, forecasts, and performance via weekly/monthly/quarterly sales reporting.

Experience:

  • 0-2 years of experience within sales, sales support, business development or within inbound and/or outbound business-to-business phone marketing or sales highly preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to communicate in English both orally and written is required. Portuguese is a plus.
  • Banking, Finance or Software background recommended.
  • Account Management experience a plus.

  • Ability to build and nurture relationships.
  • Strong tenacity and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong time management, organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to receive, express, or exchange detailed information through oral and written communication.
  • Ability to see and operate a computer.
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, bend, and lift and carry up to 25 lbs. of weight (laptop, projector, suitcase, etc.)

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in a hybrid office environment.
