We are seeking a Life Safety PMO to be part of the Life Safety Business, directly reporting to the General Manager and functionally to the Critical Systems PMO Director. You will be responsible for leading the Life Safety strategy deployment process, manage the overall Life Safety project portfolio and manage the successful execution of strategic projects and other key critical systems business programs/ projects for the Life Safety business unit.

What you'll do:

As part of the Life Safety Business, directly reporting to the General Manager and functionally to the Critical Systems PMO Director, the LS PMO Manager is responsible to lead the LS strategy deployment process, manage the overall LS project portfolio and manage the successful execution of strategic projects and other key critical systems business programs/ projects for the LS BU.

  • The PMO Manager partners with the rest of the Life Safety Leadership team to identify transformation initiative to deliver multi-year overall Division performance improvement and is leading the execution of critical programs.
  • In collaboration with LS Leadership team and CS PMO team, lead the strategy deployment process, identify all the needle mover projects that will support the BU key strategic objectives achievement, manage the overall project portfolio and structure all the needle mover projects.
  • In collaboration with LS Leadership team and CS PMO team, identify all the transformation projects that will improve the overall BU performance, define the scope and the objective of these strategic transformation projects, and manage the execution of these transformation projects (short, middle and long term).
  • Set-up the structure of the BU strategic projects and oversee the strategic projects execution (including planning/progress, issue management, deployment, review...). Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Responsibility for coordination and facilitation of the business line EBS Pull process to establish the priority needle-moving projects flowing from the business strategy, KSIs and KSOs. Establishing efficient and effective cadence structures and processes to ensure strategic projects progress in line with plans and receive sufficient focus in the business.
  • Establish strong networks with stakeholders on an E2E business basis, ensure the usage of a wide infrastructure of standardized processes, tools and capabilities focused on ensuring data transparency, supporting effective decision making, driving strategic alignment and time to market/program delivery while eliminating waste and streamlining activities across the organization.
  • Support the BU teams by setting-up task forces, mentoring teams and leading project planning workshops.
  • Leverages Eaton Business System tools to drive Continuous Improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree required; Engineering or Business degree preferred.
• 6-10 years experience in Program Management; or a combination of Program Management with some Engineering and/or Product Development Management.

Skills:

• Proven Leadership skills - capability to lead change in an Integrated Team (IPT) environment across multiple sites and customers globally.
• Fully demonstrating to proficient in Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools.
• Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (PMP) or equivalent highly recommended.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills - both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and customer.
• Experience in Risk Management.
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
• Can effectively and comfortably speak to all levels of the organization.
• Expertise in deployment of Agile and DevOps (including Continuous integration) approach is a plus
• English fluent
