Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Consultant in Boston, Massachusetts and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Create innovative and transformative solutions for clients that address their next generational needs. Create effective visions, strategies and roadmaps, in direct alignment and support of business and technology objectives for clients within the Technology, Media and Telecommunication sector. Design enterprise, customer, and operating model strategies and advise clients on how to grow their business and achieve target cost structures. Help clients with capability gap analysis to achieve planned growth, define initiatives and build transformation roadmaps. Contribute to future state architecture road-mapping and conducting vendor assessment to recommend solutions based on the requirements. Help clients transform their current business models and customer experiences to create sustaining competitive advantage and to leverage emerging digital and cognitive technologies. Assist clients in developing a shared services organization and improving back-office efficiencies by eliminating duplication and streamlining processes with a focus on stakeholder management via feasibility studies, global best practices and standards, industry benchmarks, and process scopes. Analyze industries to synthesize quantitative and qualitative financial market information, key players, and industry trends.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Providing support in developing and documenting business processes and metrics in a manner consistent with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Excel, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word;
  • Providing industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modelling to produce analysis and algorithms, utilizing SQL, R, SQL Server, MS Power BI, Tableau, and MS Excel;
  • Analyzing financial and budgeting processes to identify cost levers for reduction and optimization, utilizing MS Excel and Budget Variance Analysis Methodology;
  • Utilizing MS Excel, MS Visual Basic for Applications, Agile Methodology, Scrum Methodology, Lean Six Sigma, Project Documentation, and Project Evaluation Review Technique (PERT) to transform scalable designs into technical solutions for clients in the Technology, Media, and Telecom industries;
  • Capturing business requirements through workshop sessions, creating high-level design documents, and implementing analytical solutions using Jira, MS Excel, MS Visio, and MS PowerPoint;
  • Working across all phases of the Product Development Lifecycle for product and strategy insight solutions for enterprise-level clients;
  • Designing and developing reports and dashboards to measure performance metrics of clients, utilizing MS Excel, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Power BI, and Tableau; and
  • Diagramming process flows, performing business requirement analysis, and documenting functional requirements using MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
