WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a detail-oriented AP Analyst to become an integral part of our expanding Accounts Payable team. The AP Analyst's primary responsibilities will include daily review of  T&E reports, oversight of our corporate credit card program, employee guidance on T&E policies, addressing inquiries, and supporting month-end closing procedures.
 
WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Conduct a thorough review of expense reports to ensure adherence to policy, review for accuracy, confirm General Ledger (GL) coding, verify receipts.
  • Identify and flag policy exceptions, escalating them to the Accounts Payable Manager for resolution.
  • Offer prompt responses and effective solutions to employee inquiries regarding travel bookings, expense reimbursements, and policy matters.
  • Seek out opportunities for process enhancement, including the development of system controls to automate compliance checks against T&E policies.
  • Monitor pending T&E reports to ensure timely expense recording and reimbursement processing.
  • Administer the corporate credit card program, including card issuance, closures, and spend limit management.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities by reconciling T&E expense accounts and credit card records with the general ledger.
  • Proactively monitor and contribute to the resolution of system integration issues.
  • Prepare routine and ad-hoc management reports on T&E operational metrics.
  • Provide support for audit requests.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounts payable.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, combined with a strong drive to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Capability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Strong analytical and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with Coupa and NetSuite is advantageous.
  • Audit or SOX experience is a valuable asset.
