I have a confession: I think I may be addicted to recipes.

I have approximately 200 cookbooks, there’s at least three different food-related publications arriving on my doorstep each month, and my iPad allows me to receive all my favorite foreign magazines (oh hey GoodFood and Donna Hay Magazine!) plus long lost friends like Gourmet. I have boxes upon boxes of torn out recipes from airplane magazines, old newspapers, and magazines from years past. And needless to say, my Google Reader is chockablock full of some of the most incredible food blogs I’ve ever seen.

I realized I couldn’t keep these all to myself, so I’d like to share 25 of my favorite food bloggers with you. And let me know who some of your favorites are in the comments below—there’s always room to add a few more to my reading list!

About the Author

Niki comes to us from the financial world, but she’s an online girl at heart. After graduating from Cal, she spent a couple of years traveling and working (Ireland – NY- OC) before finally making it back to San Francisco to pursue a career in business and marketing. An avid fan of handwritten thank you notes, Niki also loves fresh flowers for any occasion, the sound of being underwater, and she firmly believes ketchup bottles do not belong on the breakfast table. When she’s not Musing, you can find her on her blog, wandering around the Ferry Building in San Francisco, or with her nose in a ridiculously addicting YA book. Say hi on Twitter @nikilowry.

Great list! congratulations to all that made it...but I think there should also be a category that would include blogs that focus on food from other countries and-or culture

Oh, no way! Thanks for letting me know - it's been a favorite of mine for a while but I must have skipped right to the recipe directions. I've switched out the asparagus pesto with one of your recent recipes that I love - your green bean salad with basil, balsamic, and parmesan. So good!!

Great round up Niki, thanks for thinking of me! By the way, that asparagus pesto recipe? It's Heidi Swanson's of 101cookbooks, from her book Super Natural Cooking, which I reviewed on Simply Recipes. It's a great recipe, but I take no credit for it at all. It's just another beautifully conceived recipe from Heidi.
