When The Daily Muse launched in early September, we also embarked on a crowd-sourced fundraising campaign with IndieGoGo. Our goal? With the help of our supporters, to expand our reader base and kick off our career development and training courses.
The result? Success! While we didn’t reach our monetary target of $10,000, we are thrilled to report that we have achieved and surpassed our goal of bringing smart career and lifestyle content to 50,000 readers. What’s more, our training courses have blossomed from a seedling of an idea to a full-grown initiative, ready to be rolled out in the coming months.
And we have you—our friends, family, colleagues, readers, and some very generous anonymous contributors—to thank. From Background Supporters to Infinite VIPs, it’s you that has made our mission possible. We want to offer our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped us along the way—and recognize our top contributors by name. A very, very special thanks to these folks, we truly couldn’t have done it without you!

We’re also grateful for everyone who got the word out through Facebook, Twitter, and other social media—you helped to expand our network and share The Daily Muse content, careers, and community with a much wider audience.
So what’s next? Check back often—you’ll be seeing a lot from us in the next few months. More content, more events, and, of course, our inaugural training and development courses, designed to bring the best job search and career resources to a generation of smart, confident Gen Y women. We can’t wait to keep you posted on our progress.
In the meantime, thanks again to all our contributors and to the strong team of supporters who’ve helped foster this fantastic community of Muses!
