All the Stats on Women in Business

Ever been the only woman on your team or in your b-school class? This snapshot of women in business school, the post-MBA job market, and the C-suite offers some good news: More women are taking the GMAT than ever before, and the salary gap between genders is shrinking—at least in the U.S.

The flip side: We still make up a sad, sad fraction of Fortune 500 executives. And the highest-paid female CEO, Carol Bartz, makes a lot less than the highest-paid male—$40.3 million less, to be exact.
