What’s there to do on a lazy Sunday morning (or evening) other than troll around on the web? We know, not much. And we also know that you’re probably sick of your usual five-site rotation.
So starting today, we’re bringing you a weekly round-up of everything you want to find: products to check out, new sites to fall in love with, light reading and viewing, and other cool stuff that will make your Sunday just a little bit better.
So sit back, grab that cup of coffee (or Bloody Mary, no judgment here), and enjoy our picks this week:
Hack Your Facebook Timeline
Do you have Facebook timeline yet? (I don’t.) Do you want to make your new wall the envy of all your hipster friends? (Yes, of course you do.) Check out these ideas on how to make your profile and top-of-the-page photos work together into something sort of awesome, courtesy of the lovely Hello Brit.
Warning: if you haven’t seen this site yet, be prepared to lose a good chunk of time exploring everything from creepy iPhone cases to awesome nacho recipes to how to turn your t-shirts into nautical necklaces.
Your Complete Guide to Valentine’s Day
The lovely and talented Molly Borter of Handbag Heaven (and of The Daily Muse) created an absolutely beautiful all-in-one V-Day guide—everything from what to wear to what to give the man in your life (an “I love you” sign in binary code for the tech geek? Amazing.) to a fun Polyvore contest to win a handbag.
Warning: if you’re of the “I hate the sight of anything pink or red around Valentine’s Day” set, you should probably skip this. Unless, of course, you want to win a purse.
The World’s Sweetest Offices
The Cool Hunter is a curator of pretty much everything beautiful or awesome in this world, but we particularly dig its “Offices” section. Modern restaurant-booth style meeting spaces at Saatchi and Saatchi’s Bangkok office. A carnival theme at Ogilvy and Mather in Guangzhou. And Skype’s Stockholm space—we love absolutely everything about it.
While you’re drooling over these sweet spaces—and, let’s be honest, brainstorming ways to convince your boss to buy you a hand chair (à la Buster’s bedroom in Arrested Development)—go ahead and treat yourself to some new file folders from See Jane Work. They’ll make your cube feel at least a little bit cooler.
Just in case you missed it (or didn’t know about the Puppy Bowl): Puppy Conan. That’s right. Conan and guests, replaced with puppies. You’re welcome.
