Unless you’re at SXSW this weekend (I’m jealous), you’re probably lounging around, looking for some fun for your Sunday. Well, we’ve got just what you need: Watch the stories and advice from of powerful women, score a new wardrobe with a cool new app, and even get excited for Monday, too.
The World’s Most Interesting Women
If you tend to spend your Sunday pondering what you want to do with your life, we’ve found a brand-new source for inspiration. Head over to the just-launched site Claudia Chan, which aims to “motivate all women to dream and do big, aim and achieve high by connecting you to the pulse and stories of today’s most inspirational women.” Check out video interviews with women like Alexandra Wilkis Wilson, founder of Gilt Groupe, Joi Gordon, CEO of Dress for Success, and Alexa Von Tobel, founder of LearnVest, and tips on everything from career transitions to starting a business to cooking and food. You just might spend all day here.
For many of us, the only good thing about this weekend coming to an end is that this Monday, we get to watch the finale of The Bachelor! To spice up those agonizing minutes before the big reveal, grab your Bach-loving pals, crack open a bottle of vino, and play Bachelor Bingo, courtesy of Tres Sugar. (Not a Bachelor fan? Turn on HGTV and play House Hunters Bingo, or head to your nearest dive bar and play Hipster Bingo.)
Recreate an Outfit with Kaleidoscope
Ever saw an outfit on a fashion blogger and wanted it—right down to the bag and shoes? Or coveted a celebrity’s look and wanted to figure out how to get it for $4,000 less?
Um, yes. Every day. So we were thrilled to find Kaleidoscope, a brand-new Android app (coming soon for iPhone, too) that launched over NY Fashion Week. Kaleidoscope lets you browse looks you love—everything from runway fashions to on-the-street style pictures. When you find the perfect outfit, you can shop for all the pieces right there in the app, which gives you options from the web to match each piece (in a wide array of price points). You’ll save time browsing through 25 stores to try to find those perfect shoes. (And you know what that means: more time to click through fabulous outfits.)
